Wait for food stamps drops from two weeks to one day

Transformation Initiative work eliminated a minimum two-week wait for food stamps and made same day service the new standard. Self-Sufficiency program offices throughout Oregon are recording a 98.5 percent client satisfaction rate for the new food stamp application process.
