Oregon Academic Library Survey
In 2001, the Oregon State Library, after consulting with the Oregon academic library community, made the decision to only collect interlibrary loan, staffing, and directory data. In 2007, the State Library discontinued the Oregon Academic Survey, and plans to do an annual mailing for a directory update.

National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
Biennial statistics on U.S. academic libraries are available from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Data are collected by NCES with the support of the U.S. Census Bureau's Division of Governments. Major data categories include: outlets, staffing, expenditures, collections, electronic services, library visits, circulation, reference questions, and resource sharing/interlibrary loan. Data is used in the peer comparison tool and published in E.D. TAB: Academic Libraries in the United States: Fiscal Year ####

ARL Statistics is a series of annual publications that describe the collections, expenditures, staffing, salary and service activities for the member libraries of the Association of Research Libraries. ARL has 123 members, mostly large universities.

Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL)
ACRL's Academic Library Trends & Statistics offers data in five major categories — collections, expenditures, personnel and public services, faculty and enrollment statistics, and supplementary statistics. The survey is comprehensive, covering 1,482 academic libraries in all Carnegie classifications. Access to online summaries is free, but the complete survey results are available online or in print for a fee.

The Executive Peer Tool allows access to data presented in the IPEDS Data Feedback Report for your institution and a comparison group of institutions.
Search for Schools, Colleges and Libraries
This tool allows searches for public and private schools, colleges and public libraries. For colleges and universities it lists contact information, number of library volumes, FTE, and student fees for three years.
