Montana Reinvestment Act
MDT ARRA Overview
On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This legislation
provides over $227 million for Montana's transportation infrastructure consisting of about $211 million for Highways
and $15.5 million for Transit. This funding will stimulate Montana's economy by creating or supporting thousands of
transportation-related jobs and making long-term improvements to our roads, bridges and transit system.
