Rita C. Meyer was elected in 2006 to serve as Wyoming's 19th State Auditor.  She carries out the functions of the office in the State Capitol with the assistance of the Deputy State Auditor, Vicci Colgan, Chief Administrative Officer Carolyn A. Teter, and a team of twenty-three staff members.  Biography

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has once again presented the Wyoming State Auditor's Office with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007.

The award is presented annually to government units and public employee retirement systems whose comprehensive annual financial reports (CAFRs) achieve the highest standards in government accounting and financial reporting.  The Auditor's Office has earned this award for the past eleven years.
