ACCESSYES DONATIONS PROVIDE MORE PLACES TO HUNT AND FISH CHEYENNE-- For more than 10 years Wyoming hunters and anglers have had additional places to pursue their activities thanks to an aggressive Wyoming Game and Fish Department program to provide additional access on private lands throughout the state.
FURBEARER/TRAPPING SURVEY NOW UNDERWAYCHEYENNE-- In recent weeks, the WGFD has sent more than 1,500 survey cards to individuals who purchased trapping licenses this past year. The survey covers the trapping seasons for various furbearers from Oct. 1, 2008, to April 30, 2009.
BEARS ARE EMERGING FROM WINTER DENSLANDER-- Both black and grizzly bears have now emerged from their dens, and that means people need to be aware while recreating outdoors or if living in rural areas of bear country.
MOUNTAIN LION HUNTERS ASKED TO RETURN SURVEYSCHEYENNE-- Hunters who had mountain lion licenses in the fall of 2008 and spring of 2009 are now being surveyed as the Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking more information on mountain lion hunter success and the effort being put into lion hunting.
