PictureHey, Kids
My friends and I hope you enjoyed these games, and that you learned something about water safety, too!  Ask your teacher or Mom and Dad to explain anything you didn't understand.  Tell your teacher you'd like to see the neat movie featuring my friends and me.  They can get the video for you, free on loan, through the school or the
State Marine Board. Wendoll

Play It Safe Fun Book - A Message to Parents & Teachers

In Oregon and the U.S., drowning is the second leading cause of death of 5 to 14 year olds.  Most are children untrained, unaware, unsupervised and unprepared.  Falling off inner tubes, poor swimming skills, no life jacket and no adult supervision are the major contributors to these fatalities.

This information is designed to be fun for kids and to assist you in teaching children the importance of water safety.  It is produced as a supplement to the video, "Play It Safe," also featuring Wendoll Water Drop.  The video is available along with teaching materials, free on loan, to schools or organizations through either your Educational Service District (ESD) or:
