Oregon Air Medical Resource Guide

The Association of Air Medical Responders of Oregon, Inc. (AAMRO) is pleased to provide the EMS responders of Oregon, and other interested parties, with a thorough Air Medical Responders Resource Guide. This guide is a compilation of valuable information from all of the air medical assets that respond to clinical and/or rescue missions within our state.

This resource guide has been developed with the following objectives in mind:

			to promote and enable time-critical patients to receive the closest appropriate air medical transport
			to achieve a formalized mutual aid structure for air medical transport services
			to promote optimal use of resources in the event of a mass casualty incident or a homeland emergency through rapid access to information resources
			to enable rapid transport of critical resources (e.g. antivenin, blood, organs, specialty medical teams & or equipment)
			to promote operational safety
			to establish a CQI process to ensure optimal patient care
			to improve overall system efficiencies through the sharing of operational information and experiences
			to promote the continued availability of air medical services to the public
