ADA Improvements Planned in the Wings

Another health safety issue addressed in the Restoration Project is to improve access for people with disabilities in the Wings. Some major improvements over the original 1977 design include:

  • Wider hallways
  • All sinks and drinking fountains will comply with ADA requirements
  • Lifts will be provided in the 2nd floor restrooms
  • Unisex restrooms will be provided on each floor
  • Improved signage
  • Improved access to elevator panels and call buttons
  • Improved fire alarm bells and strobes
