Mission Statement

To promote the development and implementation of extraordinary education through technical assistance, and proper allocation, distribution, and monitoring of state grants so that gifted students reach higher levels of academic achievement, workplace skills and effective participation in society.

Program Description

This program provides assistance to schools providing education for gifted students. It ensures compliance with state requirements for the appropriate identification procedures of potentially gifted students, and curriculum and instruction for students who have been identified as gifted.
