NOTE: DMV offices only accept cash and checks, they do not accept credit or debit cards.
NOTE: Postcard renewal reminders are mailed to driver license holders two months prior to expiration of the driver license. If you do not receive a postcard renewal reminder in the mail, you are still required to renew your driver license in person at a DMV office prior to expiration.
NOTE: After you meet all requirements, you will be issued an interim card to use until you receive your license in the mail.

Special Circumstances |

Out of State/Out of Country
If you are temporarily outside of the state and cannot come to an Oregon DMV office, you may call DMV at (503) 945-5400.
Expired Driver License
If your driver license has expired, you have up to one year after expiration to renew before you would be required to retake the vision, knowledge and drive tests.
Commercial Driver License
If you are renewing a commercial driver license you will need to satisfy additional requirements.
