Oregon Summit on Influenza Preparedness
Oregon Summit on Influenza Preparedness
What would your organization do if 40 percent of your workforce called in sick because of the flu? Public Health officials warn that could happen this fall with the novel H1N1 pandemic strain of influenza. Even a smaller outbreak will have repercussions for Oregon's schools, health care systems, large employers and local governments.

Governor Kulongoski and public health officials are holding a Summit on Influenza Preparedness on Friday August 21. Here you will receive the most up-to-date information about how H1N1 could affect Oregon this fall and recommendations about how schools, organizations and employers can get prepared today. Register for the summit here.
Representatives from school districts, private businesses, labor unions, health care systems, tribes, local governments and state agencies are particularly encouraged to attend.
