Welcome to the official site for West Virginia
Partnerships to Assure Student Success (WVPASS)! The Office of the
Secretary of the Department of Education and the Arts is delighted
to sponsor such a valuable collaborative effort. WVPASS has been an
integral part of our agency since its inception in 2003.
One
of the unique features of WVPASS is that all six partners provide
much needed outreach to communities and schools ranging from pre-K
through 20, and beyond. Yearly, outreach is provided to
approximately 60,000 persons. The WVPASS Leadership Board consists
of a broad array of people with varied skills and wisdom that
certainly is beneficial to this collaborative.
Kay Goodwin, Cabinet Secretary West Virginia Department of Education
and the Arts
