Our goal is to increase the quality of prehospital care for West Virginia's citizens by providing EMS workforce development assistance programs, reasonable provider regulations, and increased operational awareness throughout the State.

All EMS provider agencies in West Virginia must fully complete and submit EMSPIC's enrollment packet to participate in CIS (Credentialling Information System.) CIS enrollment is a pre-requisite requirement for submission of electronic patient care data. Questions should be directed to the North Carolina EMS Performance Improvement Center (EMSPIC).

CCT Scope of Practice Maintenance Requirements Policy has been revised and contains a new section (G.) addressing CCT scope expiration issues and removes the requirement to maintain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
