Gov. Manchin visits additional flooded areas

Gov. Joe Manchin earlier today toured additional flooded communities in Mingo and Wyoming counties. Six counties (Boone, Logan, McDowell, Mingo, Raleigh and Wyoming) remain on the governor’s State of Emergency declaration.

Governor Continues to Tour Flood-Damaged Counties Today

Gov. Joe Manchin and emergency management officials this morning continue to tour flood-damaged areas in Mingo and Wyoming counties, hit by Saturday's flooding. The governor is also expected to tour Logan County late afternoon/early evening today.

IMPORTANT TIME CLARIFICATION -- PRESS CONFERENCE APPROXIMATELY 3:30 P.M. IN GILBERT -- Gov. Manchin, Rep. Rahall tour flood-damaged counties

Gov. Joe Manchin and U.S. Rep. Nick J. Rahall II and emergency management officials this afternoon are touring flood-damaged areas and meeting with affected residents in southern West Virginia counties that were hit by flooding yesterday.
