Governor Kulongoski Appoints Justice of the Peace for Hood River County
(Salem)– Today Governor Kulongoski announced the appointment of Cynthia Mitchell as Justice of the Peace for the Cascade Locks District of Hood River County.
Ms. Mitchell has served as Court Clerk to the current Hood River Justice of the Peace, Roberta K. Lee, for approximately eighteen years. Judge Lee will retire effective September 30, 2008.
The Governor thanked Judge Lee for her many years of service. He also thanked Ms. Mitchell for her willingness to serve Hood River County.
