NDDOT - Top Place to Work
Group names NDDOT top place to work in North Dakota
The North Dakota Young Professionals Network (NDYP) selected the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) as the top place to work for young professionals in the state this year. NDDOT competed among several statewide applicants and was selected by a committee of young professionals to receive this prestigious award.
“NDDOT spans the entire state. They provide a wide array of quality benefits and have programs in place specifically designed for young professionals.
NDDOT takes an active role in making sure its young professionals feel welcomed and listen to their suggestions while grooming them for advancement within the organization,” said Jennifer Dobrowski, member of the YP judging committee.
This is an award that recognizes opportunities for employees at the NDDOT. The NDDOT values our employees and understands that they are the foundation to the department’s success. The NDDOT employs over 1,000 employees across North Dakota and has eight districts that span the state.
NDDOT named a Top 10 Place to Work in the Bismarck/Mandan
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Places to Work in Bismarck-Mandan by the Young Professionals Network. The Bismarck-Mandan group presented NDDOT with a plaque recognizing this achievement.
Area employers were asked to apply for a spot on the list, and entries were anonymously evaluated by a group of young professionals. Also taken into consideration in determining the top places to work was a survey about important aspects young people look at when applying for a job.The survey concluded that some of the things that young professionals are looking for include: competitive pay, flexible hours, continuing education and training, opportunities for advancement, and a positive and supportive work environment.
Governor John Hoeven was in attendance and praised the NDDOT for its positive contributions and healthy work environment. The ceremony took place in Memorial Hall in the State Capitol Building.
