Area employers were asked to apply for a spot on the list, and entries were anonymously evaluated by a group of young professionals. Also taken into consideration in determining the top places to work was a survey about important aspects young people look at when applying for a job.The survey concluded that some of the things that young professionals are looking for include: competitive pay, flexible hours, continuing education and training, opportunities for advancement, and a positive and supportive work environment.
Governor John Hoeven was in attendance and praised the NDDOT for its positive contributions and healthy work environment. The ceremony took place in Memorial Hall in the State Capitol Building.
