NDDOT Internet Utility Permits
Anyone interested in installing, replacing or maintaining any utilities on North Dakota Department of Transportation Right-of-Way must be granted permission by the NDDOT and follow all requirements as stated in A Policy for Accommodation of Utilities on State Highway Right-of-Way.
A Utility Permit must be completed, attach your certificate of insurance form, Risk Management Appendix form, (from district) and any related drawings, and mail to NDDOT district office for approval. (see Utility Permit Contact List) After approved, NDDOT District office will send utility company a copy. No construction or digging may takes place within the NDDOT Right-of-Way until the Utility Permit has been approved by the NDDOT District office.
In the event the message “There was a problem reading this document (109)” comes up click on OK as many times as you need and the document should open.
