Office of Truck Services

1 - Oversize/Overweight Permits

PERMITS OPEN ON FURLOUGH DAYS: With the recent passage of Governor Schwarzenegger’s Executive Order S-13-09, the Department will be closed on three Fridays per month.  However, both permit offices will remain open on furlough days by staggering staff schedules. Due to reduced staffing levels, the Department anticipates a delay of up to six hours in the processing of Single-Trip permits.

DOT Transportation Permits for qualified vehicles / loads exceeding legal limits. Select Regional Permits Office based on where trip originates:

North Region Office: (916) 322-1297
South Region Office: (909) 383-4637
