Corps of Engineers park rangers on the front line of invasive mussel fight in California
ENGLEBRIGHT LAKE, Calif. (April 28, 2009) -- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District Senior Ranger Skip Sivertsen inspects mussel detection stations April 23 at Englebright Lake, Calif. The detection stations, provided by the California Department of Fish and Game, are part of California’s program to prevent zebra and quagga mussel infestation.
