The Natural Resources
Conservation Service (NRCS) announced that a statewide sign up for the
Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) - formerly know as the
Conservation Security Program - will be held Aug. 10 through Sept.
30, 2009.

USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service Chief Dave White announced that five
Nebraska projects to promote ground and surface water conservation and
improve water quality have been approved through the Natural Resources
Conservation Service (NRCS). Only land within the project
areas (see map) can apply for funds from August 3 - 14 at local
NRCS offices.
