Statewide Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) sign up announced


The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) announced that a statewide sign up for the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) - formerly know as the Conservation Security Program - will be held Aug. 10 through Sept. 30, 2009.

Sign Up for the Agricultural Water Enhancement Program (AWEP) Underway through Aug. 14


USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service Chief Dave White announced that five Nebraska projects to promote ground and surface water conservation and improve water quality have been approved through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).  Only land within the project areas (see map) can apply for funds from August 3 - 14 at local NRCS offices.

Environmental Quality Incentives Program

Natural Resource Conservation Funding Initiatives Available to Landowners through EQIP


Initiatives address forestry, organic ag, invasive plants, expiring CRP acres, and more are available through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)Interested producers should visit their local NRCS office soon and apply.
