Resource Information Center Search Help
How to use the Resource Search:
The following are descriptions of the parameters you can set to return the most
relevant results for your search:
Search text: Enter the words to search for.
Search by title: Will search only the resource titles.
Search by keyword: Will search for matching words within the
resources.
One of the words: Will return resources which contain at least
one of the words in your search text.
All of the words: Will return resources which contain only all
of the words listed in your search text.
Exact phrase: Will return resources which contain only the
exact phrase listed in your search text.
Without words (Optional): Will not return any resources
containing these words.
Examples
Entering "crime analysis" as the search text and selecting "One of the words"
will return only resources which contain either the word "crime" or the word
"analysis" in them. |

Entering "crime analysis" as the search text and selecting "All of the words"
will return only resources which contain both the words "crime" and the word
"analysis" in them. |

Entering "crime analysis" as the search text and selecting "Exact phrase" will
return only resources which contain the term "crime analysis" in them. |

Entering "crime" as the search text and entering "analysis" as a "without word"
will return only resources which contain the word "crime" and do NOT contain
the word "analysis" in them. |
