The Producer Licensing division of the Insurance Commissioner's Office is responsible for the administration of producer (insurance agent) licensing, appointments, continuing education, producer investigations, and insurer licensing market conduct issues. The division is recognized throughout the industry for customer service and license application turnaround time.

NON-RESIDENT RENEWAL NOTICE: FEES DUE BY FEBRUARY 28, 2009 All non-resident licensees (individuals and business entities) were required to renew by February 28, 2009. Renewal fees may still be paid online at: Please Note: NIPR is unable to process Adjuster licensees who are not licensed in their home state. Non-resident Adjusters who are not licensed in their home state are required to submit a hard copy renewal application and forward to the Department along with a check. Please click here for an Adjuster renewal application. All other license types must renew online. No checks or hard copy renewal applications will be accepted for any other license type. Any renewals/checks received hard copy (other than the Adjuster License Type) will be returned and the license will not be renewed. Fee for renewal is $75.00 plus $75.00 late fee for all individuals and business entities for the following License Types: Producer, Adjuster, Public Adjuster, Appraiser, Fraternal Producer, and Limited Lines Producers. Individual Surplus Lines Brokers are required to pay a $125.00 fee plus $125.00 late fee. |

Online Address Change Request (ACR): Licensees can now submit address changes online at the following link: www.nipr.com.
Online Continuing Education Provider Search: Click here to find a continuing education course provider. You may search by provider, course name or line of authority. -You must use Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher.
Online Licensee Service: A service offered through the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, OLS allows Delaware licensees to view detailed license information, print a copy of their license, and receive e-mail notifications for an annual subscription fee of $5.95.
