Passes & PermitsTour Tickets Tours of the Grey Towers mansion and surrounding gardens are conducted daily on the hour from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. from Memorial Day to October 31. Prices are:
Visitors must be accompanied by a tour guide to enter the mansion. The guided tour takes the visitor through three first-floor rooms of the mansion and several garden areas and lasts about one hour. Reservations are required for groups of ten or more. Fees are collected under the Recreation Fee Demonstration Project. This program allows at least 80% of the fees collected to be utilized at the site for maintenance and improvements. Tickets are available at the Grey Towers Tower Shop.
Grey Towers Frequent Visitor Pass Grey Towers Frequent Visitor pass is available for $15. Pass holders are granted an unlimited number of guided tours for one year from the date of purchase.
The Golden Age and Golden Access passports are honored at Grey Towers.
Both passports provide a 50% discount for the PASS OWNER ONLY.
The Golden Eagle Passport does not cover or reduce the cost of the tour.
New for 2007 - The Golden Eagle, Age and Access Passports will no longer be issued after 01 January 2007.
They are being replaced with the new Interagency Recreation Passes created by the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act of 2004, passed by Congress.
The new pass covers recreation opportunities on public lands managed by four Department of Interior agencies - National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Managment, and the Bureau of Reclamation, and by the Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service.
