The mission of the Capital Area Agency on Aging, District II, Inc. is to ensure availability of interrelated supportive and nutrition services to all persons aged 60 and older. The Agency also administers regional Louisiana SenioRx and Louisiana Answers Aging and Disability Resource Center programs. Services are available in the following parishes.

The Agency provides Elderly Protective Services in the parishes of Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington.

The Agency serves as advocate and provides leadership on behalf of the elderly. The Agency's primary purpose is to develop systems designed to assist older persons in leading independent, meaningful and dignified lives in their own homes and communities as long as possible. Medicare Part D counseling also provided.

Capital Area Agency on Aging, Inc., is a nonprofit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Agency welcomes donations. Donations are tax deductible under section 501( c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
