Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that several housing authorities in Southern Illinois have received American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funds will be used for modernization, development, financing and management improvements.
“Our housing authorities provide important services that improve the quality of life in our communities,” said Costello. “This funding will create jobs and improve our housing stock, improving quality of life in our communities.”
