Funded K23 Grants

The K23-Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award is for doctorally degreed clinicians, including nurses and individuals with a Ph.D., who can perform clinic duties and are committed to a career focused on patient-oriented research that includes patient-focused translational research. The award supports a mentored career development experience in patient-oriented research, including translational research focused on the patient aspect that includes a required didactic component. The K23 provides nonrenewable support for up to five years of up to $75,000 annual salary and up to 530,000 annually for career development-related costs and requires a minimum of 75% effort commitment to the research and career development objectives of the award.
