NASA has selected LB&B Associates of Columbia, Md., to provide facilities operations and maintenance services for NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (Greenbelt, Md.). The two-year year basic contract has an additional three-year option. The total cost for the contract is $39,884,913.

Under this performance based, cost plus award fee contract, LB&B will provide planning and implementation of a comprehensive maintenance program covering electrical, mechanical, plumbing, utility services and respond to maintenance trouble calls. The company also will provide plant engineering and planning in support of Goddard's physical plant and site utilities restoration, repair, rehabilitation, modification and operation and maintenance programs.

In addition, LB&B will provide construction coordination and construction quality assurance for basic work planning and scheduling services and oversight to construction activities.
