Program Overview

Our mission is to develop and demonstrate clean technologies for pollution prevention, recycling and reuse, and to estimate their environmental consequences through industrial ecology approaches such as life cycle assessment. In addition, an effort to making findings place-based at the watershed and community level are incorporated where possible. The major research emphases are:
