Q.	When do you need the data?

Data from the conterminous U.S. must be submitted before the end of calendar year 2007. Target submission dates for data from Alaska and Hawaii will extend into 2008. For more specific information, visit the Schedule section of this website, which lists dates of scheduled activities such as these, or contact Karen Short, the LANDFIRE National data administrator, at (406) 549-7478 or kshort@landfire.org.

Regardless of target submission dates for the core data, we ask that you provide the associated coordinate information as soon as possible. We use those location data to identify gaps in the coverage of existing data, which in turn may inform placement of our field crews.
