VOLUNTARY PROTECTION PROGRAM COMMITTEE
HSS-VPP Health and Safety Training Day

The Office of Health, Safety and Security is sponsoring its first Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Health and Safety Training Day on Wednesday June 3, 2009, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at High Point Farm located at 23730 Frederick Road in Clarksburg, MD.
Transportation will be provided to and from the event for Forrestal employees on a first come first served basis. The bus will depart Forrestal at 10:00 a.m. to arrive at High Point Farm by 11:00 a.m. and will depart High Point Farm at 3:00 p.m. to return to Forrestal. Germantown employees who may need transportation to and/or from the park should notify their VPP point of contact by May 8th.
The goals of the event are to encourage HSS staff to become actively involved in the HSS Voluntary Protection Program as well as to distribute health and safety information that can be used at work and at home. There will be guest speakers, fun activities and an opportunity to learn more about HSS's efforts to attain VPP Star status. A catered lunch will be provided for purchase.
