The Office of Health, Safety and Security's
(HSS) Office of Enforcement will be sponsoring
its 2009 DOE/NNSA Enforcement Coordinator Workshop
on the dates and location provided below.

The 2-day workshop is intended for enforcement
coordinators with responsibility for participation
in the Department's nuclear safety, worker safety
and health, or classified information security
enforcement programs. A more detailed description
of the workshop is provided below (note that
the second day workshop is for NNSA/DOE personnel
only), along with registration and hotel information.
Workshop participants are also invited to attend
one or both days of the spring meeting of the
EFCOG Safety and Security Regulatory Working
Group, which is being held on April 15 and 16
in an adjacent facility at the Nevada Site Office.
Attendance at the EFCOG meeting will require
separate registration on the EFCOG webpage (http://www.efcog.org/)
Agenda
Day 1 (April 14) is for contractor and DOE/NNSA enforcement
coordinators, and other DOE/contractor personnel with an interest
or involvement in the enforcement process. The agenda will
include an overview of the enforcement process for new coordinators
and also discuss performance-related topics that will be of
interest for experienced coordinators. Specific agenda items
include a discussion of the HSS Office of Enforcement expectations
for coordinators; presentations from contractor coordinators
on their daily activities and functions; and a specific session
devoted to the Office of Enforcement feedback on contractor
noncompliance reporting. There will also be breakout sessions
to discuss enforcement reporting scenarios. Day
1 Agenda
Day 2 (April 15) is for DOE/NNSA Enforcement Coordinators
and personnel only and will provide a more in-depth discussion
of enforcement program status updates, specific enforcement
actions undertaken during the prior year and emerging enforcement
