Submitting an Unclaimed Property Report

How do I submit my electronic report?

Electronic filing is secure, accurate, and the most efficient way to report unclaimed property. Once your report has been created in a text file in the NAUPAUII format, it can be easily submitted electronically through our secure file transfer services called Montana ePass. 

When you electronically submit your report please DO NOT send a paper copy of the report. 

Are you a State Government filing a reciprocity report with Montana? Yes   No  

If you are unable to transfer files via the secure file transfer process please contact unclaimedproperty@mt.gov for alternate transfer options. 

How do I submit my electronic report that is on a diskette or CD?

An electronic report that is on diskette or CD may be sent along with your remittance to:
