The AQMD is qualified and
obliged to review the air quality analysis prepared by other public
agencies. The AQMD is a responsible agency for projects requiring
air quality permits, and a commenting agency for those projects with
potential air quality impacts but not requiring a AQMD permit. The
AQMD may review and comment on the adequacy of the air quality analysis,
as well as recommend mitigation measures as appropriate.
