When one thinks of ID Theft, we need to ask ourselves who usually knows about this first even before the indivudual knows. I believe is the answer is the Social Security Administration. They have the information at hand but never notifies anyone, the victim, law enforcement, or the FTC, etc. It would appear that if the Government Agencies would work together rather that apart, would greatly assist in this area.
