Copy Requests

Most docket reports and documents in criminal and civil cases are available electronically using the court's PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) website.

Although you are encouraged to obtain the information you seek through PACER, the Clerk's Office can fulfill copy requests.


Copy Fees

  • $.10 cents per page, if the document image is available electronically.
  • $.50 cents per page if the document image is not available electronically, or is on microfiche.
  • $9.00 per document for certification.
  • Make checks payable to Clerk, U.S. District Court, or contact the Clerk's Office to pay by credit card.

Archived Case Files

  • Contact the Clerk's Office with questions about archived cases or file location numbers.
  • Contact the Federal Records Center in Seattle, Washington, to schedule viewing or copying of an archived file

Case File Transfer

  • Contact the Clerk's Office to request transfer of a case file from the Federal Records Center to the Clerk's Office for viewing.
  • The fee for this service is $45.00 per case.
