The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina is the lead court in a pilot project to make digital audio recordings of courtroom proceedings publicly available online. The North Carolina-Eastern District Bankruptcy Court has begun placing audio files on the appropriate case docket which may be accessed through the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) program. Registration for PACER access may be obtained at www.pacer.psc.uscourts.gov. Linked below is the official news release from the Administrative Office of United States Courts, Washington, D. C., announcing the project.
