RE: OCSE's 18th National Child Support Enforcement Training Conference

Dear Colleague:

I would like to invite you to the Office of Child Support Enforcement's (OCSE's) 18th National Child Support Enforcement Training Conference to be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC on August 25-27, 2008. The theme for this year's conference is Beyond the Bench: Partnering for Excellence in Child Support through the Courts, Fatherhood, and Employment Initiatives, continuing our commitment to provide the best training for child support professionals and our partners by offering workshops and plenaries that enhance our ability to better serve the families and children of America.

Tentative Agenda

This conference is designed for all State, Local, Tribal, and Federal child support professionals and our partners, in particular judges, who work with us in serving families. As the attached tentative agenda indicates, the conference will offer a wide variety of workshops on many subjects important to the child support enforcement community. This year we are including a special emphasis on working better with the courts, fatherhood and employment programs. We will highlight a variety of successful, exciting court related and other initiatives from across the country that can make a difference in your program and community. Dress is business casual throughout the conference.

Conference Registration

The conference registration fee is $225. For State, Local, and Tribal IV-D program participants, this fee is eligible for Federal Financial Participation (FFP) reimbursement. Participants may register for the conference electronically (preferred method) or by using the enclosed registration form, which should be faxed to (301) 652-5935 or mailed to Westover Consultants, Inc. at the address below.
