What's New?

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) from the IRS
VITA community volunteers provide free income tax help. The program is designed especially for those with a low to moderate income, as well as for the elderly, people with disabilities, and tax payers with limited proficiency in English.

Please call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to locate the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) free tax preparation site nearest you. Representatives can locate a VITA site by Zip Code or County. The IRS website site www.irs.gov provides good information about taking advantage of free tax preparation programs for low income, elderly and military families.

Do you have questions about visitation or custody?
Come to the Attorney General's monthly Parenting Order Legal Clinic (POLC) to speak with an attorney in person about your visitation orders and custody problems. POLC is now available in more than 30 locations statewide. Childcare and Spanish interpreters are provided upon advance request. Find the clinic nearest you.

New child support video
The Child Support Division is announcing a video to help parents understand the court process. This video will help parents know what to expect when they go to court for the first time.
