Brown Encourages First District Residents to Prepare for Hurricane Season 2009
WASHINGTON, DC- Representing a South Carolina district in which all five of its coastal counties are at risk for impact by a hurricane or tropical storm, Congressman Henry E. Brown Jr. (R-SC) is an original cosponsor of a House resolution supporting the goals of National Hurricane Preparedness Week- to outline the importance of informing the public about the hazards of hurricanes and to provide knowledge which can be used to take action in order to save lives at work, home, while on the road or on the water.
