DOE SC's Supercomputing Allocations Committee (SAC)

The Supercomputing Allocations Committee (SAC) is responsible for setting the policies associated with the utilization of computing, data storage, and other auxiliary services available to DOE Office of Science (SC) researchers and otherwise coordinating SC's computational projects. The Committee sets the distribution of NERSC and other available Office of Advanced Scientific Computing Research resources for scientific computing allocations every year.
