Review of Oxaliplatin Billing at Lovelace Medical Genter - Gibson for Calendar Year 2004

Executive Summary

Lovelace Medical Center - Gibson (Lovelace) billed for 10 times the number of units of oxaliplatin that were actually administered on four of the five claims that we reviewed and did not provide a physician's order for the oxaliplatin that it administered on the remaining claim. For calendar year 2004, Lovelace received overpayments totaling $128,000.
