Walt Disney-Tishman African Art Highlights

The exhibition Artists in Dialogue has been closed due to unanticipated work on the exterior of the building. The museum and all other exhibitions remain open. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

Come discover the iconic artworks in the Walt Disney-Tishman African Art Collection and explore the family exhibition Artful Animals that highlights African animals, both domestic and untamed, their behaviors and their symbolism.

Artists in Dialogue Blog
The National Museum of African Art is launching a blog that is intended to tell the story of an exhibition, Artists in Dialogue: António Ole and Aimé Mpane. We extend an open invitation to readers and anyone you think might be interested to engage the curator, the artists, the museum, and other contributors in dialogue - the hopefully open but often complicated exchange of words, ideas, and images.

Please visit and contibute to the Artists in Dialogue blog.
