Camp Williams

17800 South Camp Williams Road

Riverton, UT 84062

On behalf of the Utah Training Center's Commander, welcome to Camp Williams.

Professional training environment located just 26 miles south of Salt Lake City Army Garrison Camp Williams is a National Guard Training Site operated by the Utah Army National Guard.

Utah Training Center consists of 24,000 acres of combat training areas resembling the same types of environments encountered by those currently serving in OIF and OEF. Training facilities include small arms weapons firing ranges, artillery firing points, demolition, grenade and crew served weapon ranges.

Urban environments include the Mac MOUT Shoot-house, dismounted/mounted maneuver areas and the recently opened FOB. Leadership and individual training is enhanced by utilizing our rappel tower, leadership reaction course and Afghan Village.

There are also many types of training available in the surrounding areas. This includes specialized winter, desert, mountain, and amphibious training. Most of this training can be conducted within a 50-mile radius.

Utah Training Center  Support facilities also include administration buildings, mess halls (fully equipped if desired), classrooms, and a complex of warehouses, workshops, and maintenance facilities.

Morale and Welfare Operations include a Service Members Club, Officers Club, barber shop, fitness center, volleyball courts, mail services, swimming pools and laundry facilities and an AAFES post exchange.

Training at the Utah Training Center at Camp Williams is complemented by its sister facility at Dugway Proving Ground.
