ABSTRACT:
Patuxent Research Refuge (PRR) located in Laurel, Maryland (MD). The samples were analyzed for antimony (Sb), arsenic (As), copper (Cu), and lead (Pb) using a field portable x-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer. Antimony, As, and Cu were selected for analysis because they are impurities in Pb shot. The results of these analyses were used to determine the extent of contamination at this range.
