National Eagle Center - Wabasha, Minnesota

The National Eagle Center, located on 1000 feet of Mississippi shoreline, is open daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and a river deck is also open 24/7 for eagle observation. The Mississippi River at Wabasha is a favorite over-wintering area for hundreds of bald eagles, as well as home to countless year-round resident eagles.

Live education eagles are viewed close up in a cage-free viewing area, and staff provide information and answer questions. Visitors are encouraged to take photos, and eagle education programs are given several times a day.

Family-friendly admission fees to the new 14,000 square-foot facility make the NEC accessible to all.
