The park is an outdoor laboratory for Samoan schools and it offers opportunity for guided field trips. For detailed information contact the park superintendent or resource manager at (684) 633-7082.

Too, the park and its staff can be a local true-life example in the value of applying oneself in school. Three quarters of the national park staff are local Samoans. Currently, two of them have specialist college degrees enabling them to excel in very responsible division-chief jobs at the park.
