The U.S. and Japan Fishery Agreement Approval Act of 1987-- Public Law 100-220, approved December 29, 1987 (16 USC 1801, 101 Stat. 1459) was passed by Congress in approval of an agreement between the two countries on management measures for fisheries off of the coast of the United States. The agreement was extended by Public Law 101-224 in December 12, 1989 (103 Stat. 1907).
