Information Center (NIC) is a central repository of data about banks and other
institutions for which the Federal Reserve has a supervisory, regulatory, or
research interest, including both domestic and foreign banking organizations
operating in the United States. This web site provides access to NIC data,
allowing the public to search for detailed information about banking

50 Bank Holding Companies

The Top 50 BHCs page provides the official list of
the 50 largest BHCs, by asset size. To be included among the top 50, a domestic
BHC must not only qualify by asset size but also have submitted at least five
years of FR Y-9C data and be engaged in significant banking activities.
