Journal Entry   Back Jaguar Conservation Team meeting Southwest Region, August 4, 2005 Print Friendly Version Arizona Ecological Services staff attended the Jaguar Conservation Team meeting in Douglas, AZ. The meeting covered a variety of topics, including current sightings of jaguar, updates on current research and management, alternative methods to telemetry for research, and developing a new strategy plan. The group discussed the draft strategy, which covered the current knowledge of jaguar in the area, and future actions to complete the strategy. The group tentatively set dates for developing the actual strategy portion of the new plan on October 27 and 28, 2005. The team is planning on having a completed new plan in CY 2006.
